Bruce Swilley Worked As A First Responder In The Aftermath Of Hurricane Katrina
Bruce Swilley worked as a first responder in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, which was one of the worst storms to ever make landfall in the history of the United States. He was able to transport, repair, and operate heavy construction equipment.
Bruce Swilley enjoys the thrills of competition, and he discovered this early. In 2000, Bruce Swilley competed in the Louisiana 4-H State Horse Show. His two year old, Mr. Cache Conclusive, took first place in the Gelding Halter Class. His quarter horse, Carmen, placed in the top three in both the Walk/Trot and Western Pleasure classes. Later on, Bruce Swilley would compete in the 2007 Mud Nationals in Texas, a competition in which individuals ride ATVs through a mud-course. In 2010, he took part in the Labor Day Invitational at Orange Beach, Alabama, put on by the Mobile Big Games Fishing Club.
